What is the C.E.L.L.?
CELL — the Center for English Language and Literacy at Lee — offers free English language classes to community members of all backgrounds and skill levels. Whether you're just starting out or refining advanced skills, CELL has a class designed for you:
True Beginner — For students with no English ability or only a few memorized phrases.
Beginner 1 — For students who speak a little English and want to build complete sentences.
Beginner 2 — For students developing basic English skills, pronunciation, and grammar.
Intermediate — For students building English fluency and conversational ability.
Advanced — For students ready to develop professional and academic English skills.
Classes are led by dedicated volunteer teachers in a warm, welcoming environment focused on real conversation and practical skills. CELL is more than a classroom — it's a community where students build friendships, gain confidence, and grow their English skills together.
Class Schedule
Classes meet Thursday evenings from 6:30–8:30 PM. Tuesday classes are no longer offered at this time.
